About My Challenge
For over 40 years, martial arts has taught me the value of discipline, resilience, and community. As an instructor, I've seen how important it is to support people not only in their physical development, but also in their personal wellbeing.
Mental health is a cause that is deeply personal to me. My father lived with mental illness throughout his life, and I have also lost friends in their own struggles. Their experiences remind me that mental health challenges can affect anyone and that support, understanding, and connection matter.
That's why I'm taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. I'm joining thousands of Australians to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and support better mental health outcomes for our communities.

Lifeline is a national charity providing Australians who are experiencing emotional distress access to 24-hour crisis support, suicide prevention, mental health, and domestic and family violence prevention services.

That’s why we are available 24 hours a day to listen without judgement to anyone in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, distressed, or experiencing a crisis. Each year, Lifeline receives over 1.3 million contacts to our crisis support services.
