About My Challenge

This month, I’m taking on The Push-Up Challenge in memory of our beautiful friend Rachel, whose bright light dimmed far too soon.

Rach was a huge part of our gym community — always lifting others up, offering support, and making people feel seen and valued. Her absence is felt deeply, and I’m honouring her by dedicating this challenge to her, and to the importance of mental health awareness and support.

I’ll be completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to help shine a light on the number of Australians impacted by mental health challenges.

Every push-up is a reminder that we need to keep the conversation going and ensure support is available to those who need it most.

Lifeline Canberra is proud to be a beneficiary of this year’s Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline Canberra and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on our local community.
Funds raised through this challenge enable Lifeline Canberra to continue providing critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker calls, and ensure any person in Canberra and across Australia who needs support know where and how to find it.
