About My Challenge
Hi, my name’s Anton.
I’ve always had a love for strength training and fitness— but I’m an even stronger advocate for mental health, because I’ve lived through the struggle myself.
From my youth through adulthood, I’ve faced my own battles with mental health. Those experiences have shaped who I am — and fitness has played a massive role in that transformation.
It’s more than just getting fit or strong — it’s been life-changing. Through training, I found purpose and a way to take control when everything else felt chaotic.
That’s why I’ve decided to raise awareness in the way I know best — by taking part in The Push-Up Challenge.
From June 4–26, I’ll be doing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to honour the 3,214 Australians who lost their lives to suicide in 2023 (the most recent stats)
This isn’t just about raising money for a good cause — it’s about shining a light on a real and urgent issue, and reminding people that support is out there.
Every push-up is a small act of solidarity — a reminder that no one should go through it alone.
If you’re able to donate, even a little, it truly means a lot.
But there’s no pressure — just reading this or taking a moment to check in on someone who matters means more than you know.
In my eyes, that’s already a win.
All proceeds go to headspace, supporting young Australians with vital mental health services.
So let's push for better mental health together!
I hope you take care, and I'm grateful for your support.
Dedicated to: Ian Johnson. My grandfather and the strongest man I know.
Supporting headspace National

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
