About My Challenge
Why I’m Doing the June Push‑Up Challenge for Men’s Mental Health
I’m taking part in the June push‑up challenge because men’s mental health isn’t just a cause to me — it’s my reality. I’ve struggled with my own mental health and recently received a diagnosis, and that experience has opened my eyes to how deeply this affects every part of a person’s life. It’s not something you can always see from the outside, but it can change everything on the inside.
I know firsthand how heavy it can feel, how isolating it can become, and how hard it can be to speak up. That’s exactly why I’m doing this challenge. I want to support others who are going through the same battles, and I want to help create more awareness so fewer people feel like they have to fight in silence.
Every push‑up is a reminder that the struggle is real — but so is the strength it takes to keep going. If sharing my journey helps even one person feel seen, understood, or encouraged to reach out for help, then this challenge is worth every rep.
I'm completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
