About My Challenge
Hi everyone,
Amelia here. I’m 23 years old and have decided to take on a challenge for both my body and mind.
This challenge is deeply personal to me. My mum, who is 64, is living with dementia, and watching someone you love face a difficult health journey changes your perspective on life. It has shown me how important mental wellbeing is, not only for those experiencing health challenges, but also for the families and carers supporting them every day.
While completing 1,654 push-ups in 24 days will be challenging, it serves as a reminder that many people face battles that can’t always be seen. Mental health struggles, caregiving responsibilities, and life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, and no one should have to face them alone.
That’s why I’m taking part in the Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for better mental health outcomes across Australia.
If you’d like to support me, you can make a tax-deductible donation through my fundraising page. Every dollar helps fund vital mental health programs, services, and initiatives that support individuals, families, and communities.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can help create better mental health outcomes for those who need it most. 💙
