About My Challenge
I'm completing 1,607 push-ups in 23 days to raise funds for Lifeline, who provide vital 24/7 support to people facing mental health crises.
As much as we as a society avoid discussing the topic, 1 in 5 people in Australia experience mental illness. Six Australians die every day from suicide, and another thirty people will attempt to take their own life.
Anyone who has experience with mental illness or suicide - whether it be themselves or a loved one - knows how much of a devastating impact it can have.
This issue hits really close to home for me, and for that reason I’m putting my fear of push ups aside for 23 days in the hopes of raising awareness for mental health (and maybe gaining some huge arms in the process).
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page. Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
Supporting Lifeline

Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.
Our crisis support services are available 24/7 to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
Thank you for supporting Lifeline. Your fundraising is helping to save lives.
