About Our Challenge
St Mary's Catholic College is joining the Push Up Challenge 2026 to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Our school goal is to complete 3307 push ups supporting counselling and suicide prevention services across Australia.
We invite our whole community to get involved, donate and cheer us on as we push for better mental health.
On Wednesday 17th June, we will come together as a whole College community, working within our Houses during our wellbeing session to take part in a Push-Up Challenge. As a community, we will combine our totals and aim to reach a collective goal of 3307 push ups, promoting both physical and mental wellbeing.
Mental health is extremely important to our community because it underpins students’ ability to learn, build relationships, and feel a sense of belonging. Raising awareness and supporting one another helps to reduce stigma and encourages students to seek support when needed.
At St Mary’s, we have a strong focus on wellbeing and are committed to building a culture that supports every individual. We strive to create an inclusive environment where students feel connected, valued, and empowered to look after their own wellbeing and that of others.
Supporting Lifeline
Lifeline is a national charity providing Australians who are experiencing emotional distress access to 24-hour crisis support, suicide prevention, mental health, and domestic and family violence prevention services.
