Horizon Pushup Challenge
For those who are here on this team page welcome! Eli and I (Macca) are taking this on for a bit of a physical challenge and also with the understanding of how important mental health is.
There are personal situations for the two of us that have led us here to care about this challenge. The core part for me as a coach and past athlete myself is that I understand how easily it is to spiral mentally as an athlete and how difficult it is to consistently push towards a goal that sometimes seems out of reach. So writing this and letting athletes know how important it is to tell people who care about how you're feeling is very special for me.
This of course is only one side of the coin and there are personal experiences that have led me to deeply care about mental health in every aspect of everyones lives not just athletes. I truly believe in the idea of #itsneverweaktospeak. Talking to someone, checking in on a friend, sending the important I hope you're well texts. It can save people.
