Family and friends leading the way through example of personal challenges. To inspire those closest to us and in respect to those who only get to see us from above.
We are a mixed bag of close family and friends committed to the cause of raising awareness for mental health and the benefits of exercise to Push for Better.
We've all lost more than we needed to. Whilst none of our loved ones took their own life, we have all experienced the challenge their loss creates. With the way life is these days and many living in different states around the country, we rarely get the opportunity to sit around a campfire and work through it. Now that fire will be under our chest collectively, to work and push through it.
In whatever capacity that is for the individual joining in. We have a range of fit youngsters who will smash it and hopefully reach for a higher push up target. Some complete beginners who are a bit nervous. Committed friends of all ages and fitness backgrounds and even Grandparents in their 80s involved. All here to support each other and the cause.
I have prioritised participation over fund raising for our first year, so I set the bar low. We may go higher who knows.
