About Our Challenge
This June, we're taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, completing 3,249 push-ups from 4–26 June to raise awareness and vital funds for mental health. This number represents the lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023, many of whom were part of the construction industry.
The building and construction sector sadly has one of the highest suicide rates of any profession. Long hours, tough conditions, job insecurity, and stigma around speaking up can all take a serious toll. That's why this cause is so close to our hearts—and why we're getting involved.

Supporting Lifeline
Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.
Our crisis support services are available 24/7 to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
