Why I Push-up
Hi, my name is Sam and I've participate in the Push-up challenge for the past 2 years. Initially, I started it as a way to get fit and raise funds and community awareness, however I've since learnt the value of the cause. The push-up challenge is about mental health and supporting people in our community, our friends, our family, our colleagues, anyone who struggles with their own problems. It's not just some month-long cause either, the value of empathy and understanding extend throughout our whole lives. I'm attempting 3,214 push-ups which will definitely be its own challenge, however the real measure of success is dedication, not physical ability. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
