Watch Me Rise
For the ones still here and the things we carry.
I’m doing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
That number represents lives lost to suicide last year and part of that number are people I loved.
Mental health has shaped every corner of my life. I’ve struggled. People I love have struggled. I’ve lost friends to mental illness, friends I still carry with me every day.
We need to fight to make a change, we cannot keep losing our community like this.
The hardcore scene is home: it’s always been a space for the freaks, the outsiders, the ones who couldn’t fit into a world that doesn’t make space for softness or pain. But even in our most accepting spaces, we don’t always talk about how much we’re hurting.
Hardcore changed my life. It is how I process pain, hold joy, and keep moving when nothing else works. It’s saved me more times than I can count. Now I’m using it to push for something bigger.
“Watch me rise with the things we carry: the loss, the scars, the weight of heavy hearts, the things we carry.”
Every push-up I do is for someone who never got the chance to feel seen, or safe, or supported.
Every dollar raised goes straight to mental health services in Australia.
If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t belong, if you’ve ever carried too much, if you’ve ever felt like giving up:
Carry on.
Dedicated to: Kit, Aje, Alex - Forever.
Supporting Lifeline

Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.
Our crisis support services are available 24/7 to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
Thank you for supporting Lifeline. Your fundraising is helping to save lives.
