About Our Challenge
I'm completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for the devastating impact suicide has on those left behind. In particular, the children and spouses of those who take their own lives. Worlds are shattered not just emotionally, but often very real struggles affecting financial livelihood and survival are a tragic reality. Suicide voids any life insurances (if any are in place) and often suicide victims leave behind a fiscal mess for the surviving family to make good.
No Heart Left Behind is a community and charity I am building to support those left behind. It’s suicide aftercare. It’s caring for the carers. In time, with support and funding, No Heart Left Behind will provide financial and wellbeing respite and a safe, welcoming community to those affected by the negative snowball effect of mental illness and suicide. No child should have to pay the price of a life of lessened opportunities because of parental suicide.
