Students versus Advisor
In 2025, Big Picture students at Hunter Sports High School will be undertaking the Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds to support people and programs involved in creating better mental health in our communities.
As part of the challenge, the students will be dividing the 3,214 push-ups amongst each other, while their Senior Advisor, Dave, will be taking it on by himself. They will be pushing-up, sitting-up, lunging, and squatting their way to their goal. As part of their Social Action and connections with the wider community, the students are aiming for better mental health outcomes as they become young adults.

Supporting headspace National
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
