I'm completing 1,607 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.

My own personal journey with Anxiety has made me acutely aware of the discrepancy between those who can afford professional support, and those that cannot. With the guidance I received from a Psychologist, plus the support of family and friends, I wouldn't be in a place of joy now - that my profile pics shows - present, happy, at ease with the world. Not dreading getting on the train, having dinner with friends, traveling, or anything that used to bring me joy. Anxiety took that all away. It was crippling.
So, this is me doing my part, I hope, to support an area of Health I have experienced and know needs more help!

Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.
Our crisis support services are available 24/7 to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge plays a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
