About Our Challenge
We’re the headspace Adelaide crew, and we’re pushing for better mental health... one (slightly shaky) push-up at a time. From community engagement to clinical care, our team supports young people across Adelaide… and now we’re flexing those support muscles literally.
Whether we’re doing wall push-ups between emails, star jumps in the kitchen, or cheering from the sidelines with coffee in hand, we’re all in for the 3,214 push-up challenge, representing the lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023.
We’d love your support as we raise awareness and funds for youth mental health, headspace services, and the very real cause behind every rep. Let’s move, connect, and change the stats together 💚
Supporting headspace Adelaide
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.

Instructions In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, combine the oil and 2 popcorn kernels. Cover the pot and wait for the kernels to pop, which might take a few minutes. In the meantime, place a large serving bowl near the stove so it’s ready when you need it. Once the kernels pop, turn off the burner, remove the pot from the heat and pour in the remaining popcorn kernels. Cover the pot again, and give the pot a little shimmy to distribute the kernels evenly. Let the pot rest for 60 seconds to make sure the oil doesn’t get too hot before the kernels are ready to pop.
