About Our Challenge
We are completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia, and we are inviting all Anytime Fitness Ballarat & Mt Clear members, friends and family to join!
You can show your support by joining us in pushing ourselves through completing daily push up targets, raising awareness of the challenge and making a tax-deductible donation to my page. All money raised through us will go directly to Headspace Ballarat organisation.
As your local headspace centre, we provide a range of supports to Ballarat young people aged 12-25, as well as their families and have a focus on providing both clinical support and community engagement activities. At headspace Ballarat our Community Engagement team have a specific interest in providing education and activities that supports day-to-day maintenance of positive mental health and wellbeing – i.e. good relationships, exercise, sleep, nutrition, help-seeking, reducing drugs and alcohol, spending time in nature etc.
Supporting headspace Ballarat
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
