KlopperKrew Push Up Challenge for Mental Health
We the Klopper Krew are completing 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
We are doing this because in many different ways poor mental health has directly affected myself and my family. My wife is an Emergency nursing in Mandurah, which says it all. It runs through my family and both sides of my childrens families. I personally have had a major head injury and childhood traumas that undealt with led to drug and alcohol abuse, multiple scuicide attemps and a complete disconnection of self and community. As a Father of 6 Girls it is my Duty to stop any unconscious intergenerational trauma in its tracks. We dedicate this challenge to my Daughter Iloe Mae Klopper who was taken and is hidden from her family because of Both her parents past mental health issues. We hope that the work we put in as a family inspires others to help and most importantly work as best they can to continually improve there own mental health concerns.
